Taking on a 2012-model Kingfish at the Mokes with what looked to be a pre-war "Pirking Rod" used to catch Cod in the North Sea.
Almost no bend from the 7 foot broomstick, and the drags were screaming, but he managed to land this good sized fish and a few more to follow.
