What a busy summer,
Never seen the Houhora big game sports fishing club so busy with game fish before
The likes of 'Hooken Bull', well known fishing vessel own by Houhora fisherman ""Guy Jacobson" putting New Zealand on the map once again with world records pending.
Shut the gate
Ha great summer
Just at the moment ""Big Snapper, big trevs, Big Kahawai & big Kings for those who know what real fishing is about
Water is staying blue on one side and although the western side is getting a hammering with weather colder currents are taking its toll pushing winter on its way, but people still catching great catches on good days
It has been great to use bait & Berly recently to have big Autumn snapper causing grief & with high expectations.
But using my rigs with sponsored products poor snapper normally end up with a dentist problem after a fight.
Had a feed of mussels that had been dropped off by a nice lady smoked in chilli sauce , they were fat,😀👍
Ha April is a great time of the year
My pick of the weekend ahead bait and lots of berly off the rocks
Good luck guys & girls.
