Fishing remains very steady along the coast, with the 10-20 meter zones, particularly around Aotea Reef, yielding some impressive snapper catches recently.

Fishing still very steady at present the 10-20 meters all along the coast is fishing very well Aotea reef has had some very nice snapper taken recently over 20lb berley would be the key to keep these guys around and straylines. Please just watch this place if there is a swell running there can be a few surprises at times.

Had a few good days fishing down Marakopa just outside the reef. Its along way to travel but the rewards are down there. Bonito barracouta and fresh kahawai baits are all working very well. Weather for weekend not flash but ok Sunday onwards looks good till Thursday.

Cheers Rob
