The MO
finScribe has separate and bespoke pathways – Trout & Salmon; Sea; Other Freshwater, and Carp - depending on one’s preferred angling discipline:
Users log catches quickly and easily, either at the time or retrospectively. A photograph; a pin dropped on a map; fields for Weight, Length and Sex of your catch. Everything else goes in a 300 character text box: bait/lure/fly; quality of take/fight. Anything at all… By recording all details, finScribe users will come to better understand what methods are effective in certain conditions and particular fishing spots.
Discover
Use the global map on the Discover page of the app to find new fishing rivers, streams, lakes and reservoirs. Pins are relevant to the user’s chosen fishing discipline. Click a pin to open the waterway’s title box. Premium or Premium+ users can click the title box to get full weather forecasting for that locality.

finScribe is free to download and use, and always will be. finScribe’s Premium and Premium+ services are currently being offered with a two-month free trial to encourage users to check them out.

Store the weather conditions including barometric pressure with each log. See a map view of logged fish, giving a wide-angle view of a user’s fishing journey. Tapping pins takes the user to the relevant log:
