“This is a really important evolution for C-MAP,” explains Max Cecchini, EVP C-MAP. “We have heard our customers telling us that C-MAP’s range was too complicated and we’ve adapted – with a simple, two-tier product range which brings the strongest data to all products, including the ‘Entry Level+’ DISCOVER.”

“With REVEAL, boaters get extra features, including Shaded Relief, previously only available in our local products in very select coastal areas, everywhere – coastal and on lakes and rivers. It was our customers who called this ‘game-changing’, and we’re thrilled to be changing the game for all boaters by making this view available globally.”

Suzuki Clean Ocean Project

Suzuki Develops the World's First Micro-Plastic Collecting Device for Outboard Motors: Suzuki Motor Corporation has developed the world’s first* Micro-Plastic Collecting Device which can be installed on outboard motors. Marine plastic waste has become a significant environmental issue in the recent years and a huge amount of such wastes that has not been gathered correctly flow into the ocean. They are then broken down into micro-plastic under the natural environment and their impact on the ecological system is also becoming a concern. To tackle these issues, we focused on the structure of the outboard motor, which pumps up tons of seawater to cool the engine and then returned to the ocean. We developed a collecting device which collects micro-plastic waste by utilizing the returning water. Through this device, micro-plastic waste around the water surfaces can be collected just by running the boat.

Catch 'Double Trouble' Jig Review
Review
Say you were having a nightmare where you could only have one jig to use for the rest of your days (Heaven forbid!) After waking up in a cold sweat, you might just get to thinking if that really WAS the case, what lure would I choose? Based on the results I’ve seen over the last few years. It would be hard to go past the Catch Double Trouble as the most effective and versatile jig out there. This initially angular looking pattern comes in a pretty wide variety of sizes from 100 grams to 300 grams, and I have personally used, and watched it in action, catching darn near everything out there that hits a lure.
NEW Abu Garcia rod review. VERITAS 4.0
Gear
VERITAS = VERI TASTY! There are just some products that I know I’m going to buy the moment I see them. As a massive soft bait and lure fishing fan, I love catching decent fish on relatively light weight spinning gear, and when the opportunity arises to upgrade or replace broken gear, it’s a no brainer.

The cuffs have come off. The weather is perfect and the top water fishing season has just kicked off in New Zealand. The plan is to head wide to an off shore island that is surround by big fish habitat. Wash rocks, step drop offs and tonnes of current. Big stick baiting rods and reels are rig and ready to do tangle with the the Yellow Tail King Fish.
