fishing report
June 5, 2024

Heaviest weekly snapper in June earns $170 voucher plus fishing remains excellent with solid catches near Albatross Point.
Recently, days with right sea conditions have been hard to find. However, we are expecting a good patch of weather this week, likely some of the best we've had for a while.
On the fishing front, the catches remain excellent, with anglers frequently nearing their bag limits. We're seeing very solid fish being landed, up to 16 lbs, with plenty in the 6-10 lb range. There hasn't been much bycatch, though the odd spiny dogfish is starting to appear. Most fishing activity is taking place around the 50-60 meter mark straight off Albatross Point.
For the month of June, we are running a weekly promotion where the heaviest snapper wins a $170 voucher. These are awarded every Sunday evening.
