Not too many chances to get out at present, but over the past few days we have been braving the elements and the fish are on the bite steady all day

With some grunty westerlies coming in, this week looks pretty poor for getting out fishing, but a good opportunity for the spring snapper stocks to build up nicely, and I'm sure they will be pretty hungry when we do get a chance to climb back out over the bar.

Lately we've been catching would what we call close to limit bags of snapper, nothing outstanding size-wise just really good eaters.

The gurnard have been having a chew also with plenty of these coming in almost matching the snapper numbers.

Most fishing has been around the 50-60 meters off Albatross point. Weatherwise it looks like a better window coming mid next week.

Sorry its a bit short but not al ot to report until next time.

Cheers

Rob
